The West Project
The West Project was very much a labour of love. We worked closely with our clients throughout a challenging time in their lives, to bring this space to life with an element of emotional connection and nostalgia, while honouring the homes exterior with its original stonework and brickwork. The home, echoing the grandeur of a beautiful English Manor, seamlessly blends all the charm of its early 1900's architecture with contemporary design and features.
The brief for us was to unite the existing, disjointed zones, currently used only as a thoroughfare space, into an area that was useable, all while create greater ease of access throughout the various entry and exit points of the home - a fair challenge considering the existing site levels, angles, curves and required access points.

During construction the original sandstone of the home was restored with new sandstone specifically sourced to match, looking like it had lived there forever with the rest of the existing stone.
Matt always let us know what was going on which meant that there were never any surprises. Added to this, the quality of his work was exceptional with real craftsmen showing a great attention to detail. We are delighted with the way the garden now looks and so pleased that the process was easy.
