Lilly's Garden
While this suburban backyard may have been designed and constructed with an aim to modernise the space, and utilise the zones for entertaining and personal use, there is one particular resident who has claimed it as their own — Lilly, the family Golden Retriever.
Nestled into a space with expansive borrowed foliage, you never would know that this property sits smack bang in the middle of the suburbs, on a battle-axe block.

The brief for this garden was to create an entertaining and relaxing haven, with a sense of flow between indoor and outdoor areas. This was achieved by adopting a luscious, dense, tropical planting palette, coupled with curved edging and cluster planting.
Matt and his team were brilliant. I could not have asked for a better contractor or one with more care and attention to detail. From the precision excavation to the detailed work completed by the team, haste not speed was their approach and they truly invested themselves in the end result.

Boundary planting surrounds the perimeter, supporting a feeling of envelopment, while adding additional privacy and helping to act as a sound barrier between the neighbours.
