What we’re built on
Bright minds, big hearts, and skilled hands
Outdoor Escape isn’t your run-of-the-mill landscaping company. Founded in 2012 by Matt Bandiera (self-proclaimed outdoor enthusiast), Outdoor Escape is built on a genuine love for bespoke, liveable spaces. Matt and his team approach every project with a fresh set of eyes and keen pair of hands. This ensures that each space gets a personal touch while also being at the forefront of industry trends and environmental sustainability.
“We take pride in everything we do; our finished product speaks for itself.”
— Matt Bandiera, Director
It’s not awards or reputation that sets Outdoor Escape apart, though they could certainly boast a little. Instead, it's a culture of mutual trust, transparency, and collaboration. When you work with Matt and his team, you’ll be treated more like a mate than a client.

Matt’s love of nature started early on. Growing up on acreage in semi-rural Sydney, he spent his childhood chasing waves and planting flowers and veggies with his dad. Matt’s career blossomed working on prestige landscape projects with Rolling Stone Landscapes. Here, he learned how to craft opulent outdoor spaces and earned his certification. With Italian heritage and down-to-earth attitude, Matt shares his love for the outside world with authenticity and care.
