Landscape Tradesman

As a senior member of the Outdoor Escape construction team, you will be passionate about landscaping, particularly bespoke residential landscaping. Leading end to end premium residential landscaping projects, you will be dynamic in your workmanship and have a proven background in landscaping, strong attention to detail, and a desire to positively impact the lives of our clients, by bringing to life their dream garden. You will look after all elements of the project and oversee junior staff with seamless supervision and a can-do attitude. You will have time management skills like no other, be decisive in your decisions, and efficient at communicating.

Your days will see you:

• Leading your team and overseeing sub-contractors

• Reading / understanding landscape plans and implementing with intent

• Working to budgets and specified project timelines

• Constructing and installing hard landscapes such as; decking / paving / concrete / retaining walls / drainage

• Installing soft landscapes such as; planting / soil / turfing / irrigation systems

• Assisting in keeping our work sites, yard, vehicles, equipment and tools clean and organised

Who you’ll be:

• Minimum 5+ years of landscaping experience

• Completed Certificate III in Landscape Construction or similar tertiary qualification

• Proven experience in running detailed projects from start to finish

• Time management and communication skills

• Exceptional workmanship and attention to detail

• Highly organised and thrives on process

• Ability to lead and coordinate a small team and oversee subcontractors

• Hold a current manual drivers licence
