Castle Hill

Subtle in its nature, this family garden is the great Australian dream. From street appeal to be envied, indoor-outdoor entertaining spaces, and a dedicated soccer area for the little ones, no stone has been left unturned when designing and creating this space.

Simplistic in its layout, the devil is in the details with this garden. A timeless, pared back design welcomes the elements to take centre stage, and in no small feat adds the raw luxury of this contemporary suburban family home.

As a vintage car collector, showcasing our clients beloved and timeless pieces, while maintaining a family friendly space, was vital. The result; a custom concrete checkered driveway, side lined with lush Ornamental Pears, leading to a secondary garage where these sets of wheels (and mini alike) are parked humbly.

The mix of planting styles works harmoniously in this space, bouncing between formal and contemporary with a heavy textural and layered component that’s always at play.

Bespoke concrete elements are a recurring theme throughout this space, where flowing through to the back garden sits a floating concrete bench seat coupled with an outdoor kitchen for entertaining and enjoying all year round.

From the very beginning Matt and Zara had a vision of how to transform the space, providing us with comfort throughout this entirely new process. We are absolutely blown away with the end result and constantly receiving compliments from our neighbours, friends and family.

Interest and depth is on offer at every turn throughout this garden, with pockets of garden weaving and interlacing themselves between each other, and adjoining the interior to the exterior.
